About Me
Hi, I'm Freeman White
I'm an executive and management coach with 15 years of experience as a social enterprise Founder, CEO, and Director of Product. I’m based in Nairobi, Kenya, having lived here with my family since 2019. I got into coaching by leading with empathy in my weekly management conversations with my team, creating a psychologically safe space for reflection and growth. As a result, over 4 years my product and design team of 20 people had no regretted churn, high morale, and achieved the hyper-scaling of one of the most successful fintech companies on the African continent from a new product pilot to 5 million customers. Eventually, I realized I was really coaching the people on my team, unblocking them to achieve their goals, and I wanted to focus on this work.
Coaching has been a passion of mine for years now. Each session feels like an amazing moment filled with possibility. It is an absolute honor to be in a trusted and safe space with a person while they are working through what is important to them. I take the work seriously and continually respond to feedback to make the coaching time as tailored and valuable as possible to each client.

The Coaching Process

Overall Structure
- An initial engagement is 9 sessions, usually spread over 3 months, and extended as you see fit.
- Coaching sessions usually run for one hour.
- The cadence is set by the client. Commonly weekly to start, then every two weeks.

Flow of Each Session
You decide on a key focus topic at the beginning of each session. Coaching then leads to a plan and often a commitment to actions. Progress is measured over a few sessions. Topics can change from session to session or span a few sessions.

Transformation
Just imagine how a new butterfly feels. The culmination of the work in the cocoon is the freedom to fly. A lot can happen in the coaching process, but at each moment, you are where you were meant to be and you'll have help along your way.
